HIALEAH, FL - Today, Mayor Bryan Calvo signed Executive Order No. 2026-07, formally creating the Mayor’s Condominium and Homeowners Association Advisory Task Force (CHAT).
With a significant portion of Hialeah’s population residing in managed communities, Mayor Calvo emphasized that residents deserve direct access to resources and a government that actively listens to their concerns about governance, maintenance, and safety.
“We are beginning a new chapter for Hialeah. Our residents’ voices will be heard,” said Mayor Bryan Calvo. “This task force reflects our commitment to action and to ensuring that every condominium and HOA community has the full support of its city government.”
The newly formed CHAT will serve as a liaison between residents and the city.
Its responsibilities include:
- Comprehensive Review: Evaluating resident concerns related to association governance, safety compliance, and financial transparency.
- Expert Collaboration: Working with city departments, legal professionals, and community advocates to identify practical solutions.
- Accountability: Providing quarterly reports with findings and policy recommendations.

The City of Hialeah will host a Community Outreach Event in partnership with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).
